‘The reason as to why I’ve never called ‘CHANGELINGS’ a career is because this music project isn’t meant to resemble some sort of autobiography or self-portrait. I more or less equate the songs that I write as being random scenarios, episodes or vignettes.

I’d like to think that this world and this lifetime has no shortage of creative stimuli. And being someone who is continuously working on his craft, I try to collect as much as I can in order to re-appropriate it into something else. The source of all these songs isn’t so much derived from my own personal references, but rather of the external and observational sort. This is how I’ve always approached songwriting when it comes to this music project.

Sometimes I’ll offer a rough summary of what a song could be about. But most of the time, I prefer to just let listeners interpret/extract meaning from a song in their own individual way’.
